Toolkit Pages
After looking at a few more existing apps I decided to change the design slightly and use a fully blue background. This made the design look more consistent throughout and also flow better. I decided to stick to white and remove any black writing and then add a slightly different shade of blue for subtle detail.
About and Get Involved Pages
I developed all of the pages to follow the same style using the fully blue background. The about and get involved pages use a combination of lower and uppercase text. I decided not to use the images on this page in the end as I thought that I could possibly end up having an issue with stereotypes. Instead I decided not to use any images of people throughout the whole of the app. I decided to use the logo in the place where I was going to put an image in the about page. This will make the logo be view more than when just opening the app.
Workouts Pages
I developed the workouts page in the same way as the other pages. I also made the type slightly smaller as it helped to make the pages look less crowded. The use of the darker blue in the circles makes the pictograms stand out more than they did against the white background.
Menu Pages
The menu page also follows the same design. I moved the links to the middle of the page meaning that there was more of a balance of empty space and used lines as a division between the menu title. I have also used this throughout the app design.
